Workshop Title: Social Work Licensure Preparation Workshop
Trainer: Dr. E. Jean Norfleet-Haley, LCSW-C, LICSW
About the Trainer:
She holds a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology and a Masters Degree in Social Work. Her professional work entails 23+ years of experience in the following areas: Child Welfare, Neglect and Abuse, Community Mental Health, DCPS Head Start Program, Gerontology, Domestic Violence, and working with people that were homeless. Dr. Norfleet-Haley is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of supervisory/training experience. She has years of experience facilitating and teaching Social Workers how to prepare for the Social Work licensure exam.

- New college graduates (master level)
- Licensed Graduate Social Workers
- Individuals experiencing difficulty with passing the Licensure exam.
This is how the new workshop will look:
1st Day
- Learn a psycho-educational overview of how your brain retains and recalls information.
- Learn test taking strategies and techniques.
- Learn how to reduce your anxiety during exams.
- Review clinical testing materials
- Review sample test questions
You will have a chance to go home review the material , practice the test strategies, and return another day to take a mock exam to ensure to have grasped the information.
2nd Day- 4 hours
Take a practice Exam.
Receive personal attention reviewing the exam and learning how to choose the correct answers.
You will feel more than confident to take the exam when you complete this workshop.
