WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
This interactive workshop is designed to provide Social Workers or clinicians an in depth overview of ethics and the clinical obligation we must adhere to in accordance with the Board of Social Work Code of Ethics. Trainees will be given an opportunity to discuss, incorporate, and apply shared ethical data received from the facilitator during an interactive group experience.
WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES
• To provide a psycho-educational overview that will include definitions, origin and reason for a Code of Ethics.
• To provide trainees an opportunity to understand ethics and ethical dilemmas as it relates to clients or agencies.
• To review and discuss the importance of honoring the Social Work Code of Ethics.
